Description:

Every day is exactly the same. Until it starts to blur together. Home, work, home, work – and everything starts all over again. You close your eyes, only to open them again. You see the same silhouettes of familiar people. At work, you're surrounded by the same faces. But what happens when you start to see something different instead? Something subcutaneous and incomprehensible? And what if, at some point, you stop recognizing yourself? 

"MELTdown" is a visual novel horror game in which you play as Ellie – a (pretty) ordinary girl experiencing the worst week of her life.

 

TW: swearing, physical violence, sexual violence, suicide, animal death, dissociation, loss of control.

Made during KrakJam 2026, as a part of Global Game Jam 2026.
